2023 Election Information

                                         This election is NON-PARTISAN.  All registered voters in the city can vote.
 
                                                                          VOTER ID WILL BE REQUIRED BUT...
All voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID. If a voter cannot show photo ID when voting in person, they can still vote by filling out an ID Exception Form. 
 
Primary Early Voting:                         September 21 – October 7
Primary Election:                                October 10
General Election Early Voting           October 19 to November 4
General Election                                 November 7

Durham County Main Library -          300 N. Roxboro Street
South Regional Library -                    4505 S. Alston Avenue
North Regional Library -                    221 Milton Road
NCCU Turner Law Building -            640 Nelson Street
East Regional Library -                       211 Lick Creek Lane
 
You can also vote absentee
 
There are eight candidates for mayor.  The top two vote getters in the primary go to the general election.
 
There are twelve candidates of the city council.  The top six vote getters go to the general election.  They are running at large.  You can vote for three.
